Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server of STRATO GmbH (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany) in a data centre in Germany. When you visit it, the web server stores technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Delivery via Cloudflare

The website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which makes it load faster and protects it against attacks. Every request passes through Cloudflare servers, which process the technically necessary data (IP address, requested page, browser, time). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (fast and secure delivery). Data may also be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
